In the space between (UK) we are pioneering new perspectives on leadership building on my doctorate research. The approach that we are working with considers leadership as an attribute of the business or organisation, rather than the individual. That means separating authority from leadership and exploring different ways of growing and strengthening the leadership practices of the business. In this way the ideas, creativity and expertise of the workforce can be more fully employed by the business.

I am a Founding Partner of do-Be-do, a training and development business which focuses on ‘living the unlived life’ – the Being side of do-Be-do.

We are currently pioneering arts-based training & development approaches for developing managers and leaders. This approach particularly develops people behind the role, as well as re-creating conventional techniques for task management in a new and inspiring way.

do-Be-do has established itself as an Accredited Centre with the ILM, and as a first initiative now run an arts-based management development Certificate.
