Sue is the lead consultant on leadership development in the space between. As well as consultancy work, she teaches leadership psychology and professional practice to consultants, managers and leaders in institutions in Scandinavia, Greece and Bermuda. As an executive coach Sue has supported individuals in progressing to higher levels of seniority in large corporations, resulting in impressive professional success.
Sue has authored books* on people skills, profiting from diversity, team supervision, developing strategy, and more recently co- edited a book to be published by Routledge in 2008 on ‘education and imagination’. She has published papers and chapters on consultancy and organisational development. In support of her ongoing interest in leadership, Sue is researching a PhD on this subject at Cardiff University. Simon's contribution stems from his experience as a senior manager in HR, and through his current PhD research which has far reaching implications on the broader aspects of leadership. Simon has spent much of his career in corporate work where his main area of expertise is in the management of people systems. He has worked for Unigate Ltd, J Lyons Ltd, WH Smith Ltd, Praxis plc and Helphire plc. He is qualified in Myers-Briggs (MBTI) and Thomas International (PPA) psychometrics. Simon also guides SME's on many aspects of recruitment and dismissal, contractual management and employee relations. Simon operates a remedial employment service for SME's where people-issues and the business are not working well together. This covers recruitment problems, motivation problems, poor performance, discipline and dismissal.
